Facebook is a social media and social networking service owned by the American technology conglomerate Meta. Facebook was created in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg with four other Harvard College students.

You can see if a group is visible or hidden in the About section of the group. Go to your group and select the Discussion menu item. The About section will appear on the right side (Desktop version).

• Visible: Anyone can find the group in search and other places on Facebook.
• Hidden: Only members can find the group in search and other places on Facebook.

To see if a group is visible or hidden follow these steps:

1. Go to facebook.com/groups and select your group.
2. Click Group info (Group title) on the mobile version.
3. Below the group description and privacy level, you’ll see Visible or Hidden.

To change the group visibility follow these steps:

1. Go to facebook.com/groups and select your group.
2. Click Group info (Group title) on the mobile version.
3. Click Group settings (Settings menu item).
4. Click Hide group if the group is visible.
